Synergy 2026 at asked a beautiful question this year : What If?
We took that prompt and turned it inwards, inviting Synchrony employees to pause and ask what if they understood themselves better - at home, at work and often neglected third space, sleep. What unfolded was part reflection, part conversation and simply a pause!
Huge thanks to and for elevating these conversations. And .c.g.c_therapy_center_ you are best at what you do, child/adolescent care and parenting. Being constantly online can slowly start draining your mental energy — often without you even realising it.

📱 Compulsive phone checking, difficulty switching off, mental fog, and disturbed sleep are common signs of digital overload. When the mind stays in “alert mode” all day, true rest becomes difficult.

Over time, this constant digital noise can increase stress, anxiety, and emotional fatigue.

🧠 Taking care of mental wellbeing today also means learning how to set healthier boundaries with screens, thoughts, and daily pressures.

At Avika Mind Health, we support individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, and mental exhaustion through structured, evidence-based therapy.

💬 If you’ve been feeling mentally drained lately, speaking to a professional can be a helpful step.

😴 Sleeping 7–8 hours but still waking up tired?

It may not be about sleep duration. Ongoing stress can quietly affect how deeply your body and mind rest.

Stress can:

• Keep your brain in alert mode
• Disrupt restorative sleep
• Prevent full recovery

Over time, sleep may look “adequate” but still feel unrefreshing.

💬 If tiredness continues despite lifestyle changes, it might be helpful to look at the stress beneath it.

Support is available at Avika Mind Health.

Why is my childhood still affecting me?

Many adults ask this quietly.

On the outside, life looks fine, responsibilities are managed, work is moving forward, everything seems normal.

But emotionally, there may be patterns that don’t make sense:

• Guilt that lingers
• Anxiety without a clear reason
• Strong emotional reactions
• People-pleasing
• Difficulty trusting others

Childhood experiences shape how our brain learns safety, attachment, and emotional regulation.

If things felt unsafe, inconsistent, or unsupported earlier in life, your nervous system may still carry those responses even if your current situation has changed.

At Avika Mind Health, we help you understand these patterns without blame.

Through structured, trauma-informed therapy, we work toward helping your nervous system feel safer so your past doesn’t quietly control your present.

Sessions are available:

🖥️ Online
🏥 In-person
🧘 VR-supported (when appropriate)

If your past feels like it’s still shaping your reactions today, support can help.

Just a few more minutes… then I’ll sleep.

If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone.

For many working professionals, late-night scrolling feels like the only “me time” after a long day of work, responsibilities, and being available to everyone else.

But this habit has a name, Revenge Bedtime Scrolling.

It’s your brain trying to reclaim control.
The problem? It keeps your nervous system alert instead of letting it rest.

Over time this can lead to:

• Light, unrefreshing sleep
• Increased anxiety
• Mental exhaustion
• Feeling tired even after a full night in bed

If your mind feels louder at night, there’s usually a reason behind it.

At Avika Mind Health, we help you understand what’s keeping your system switched on and work on practical tools like boundary setting, night-time routines, and stress regulation.

Support is available:

🖥️ Online
🏥 In-person
🧘 VR-assisted relaxation (when needed)

Sometimes better sleep starts with understanding your stress.
