Antibiotics can save lives when used correctly—but the wrong antibiotic, wrong dose, or unnecessary use can cause antibiotic resistance.

In this reel, we explain the key differences between Monocef (Ceftriaxone), Cefixime, Amoxicillin, and Amoxicillin + Clavulanic Acid in simple language.

Learn why these antibiotics are not interchangeable and why the choice depends on the type of infection, bacteria involved, patient factors, and medical advice.

🚫 Do NOT use antibiotics for viral infections like common cold, flu, or most viral coughs.

🚫 Do not self-medicate.
🚫 Do not share antibiotics.
🚫 Do not use leftover antibiotics.
🚫 Do not stop or change the course without medical advice.

👉 Remember: Antibiotics are powerful medicines. Use the RIGHT ANTIBIOTIC, RIGHT DOSE, and RIGHT DURATION under qualified medical guidance.

Calcium Carbonate vs Citrate vs Lactate vs Gluconate — Which One Is Better?

Did you know all calcium supplements are NOT the same? 🤔

From Calcium Carbonate to Calcium Citrate, Calcium Lactate & Calcium Gluconate, each form has a different amount of elemental calcium and different characteristics.

🔹 Calcium Carbonate – ~40% elemental calcium; highly concentrated and generally taken with food.
🔹 Calcium Citrate – ~21% elemental calcium; well absorbed and can be taken with or without food.
🔹 Calcium Lactate – ~13% elemental calcium; less concentrated and commonly found in oral formulations.
🔹 Calcium Gluconate – ~9% elemental calcium; a much less concentrated calcium salt.

💡 Important: Don't look only at the number of milligrams on the strip.

Always check the ELEMENTAL CALCIUM amount.

Calcium plays an important role in bone health, teeth, muscle function, nerve function and normal body functions.

Vitamin D also plays an important role in calcium absorption and bone health.
