Choithram College of Nursing, Indore, observed World Organ Donation Day through an awareness program organized by the Community Health Nursing Department in collaboration with the NSS Unit.

The programme featured an expert lecture by ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐’๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ฅ ๐Š๐š๐ซ๐ฆ๐š, ๐‚๐‡๐‘๐‚ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐’๐š๐ง๐๐ž๐ž๐ฉ๐š๐ง ๐€๐ซ๐ฒ๐š, ๐Œ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ค๐š๐ง ๐†๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฉ,, along with an inspiring awareness skit performed by students. โ€œAnti-Ragging Measures: Responsible Peer Guidance and Inter-Batch Student Interactionโ€

Continuing the observance of National Anti-Ragging Week 2026, an awareness session on โ€œAnti-Ragging Measures: Responsible Peer Guidance and Inter-Batch Student Interactionโ€ was organized for the students of B.Sc. Nursing II Semester on 14 August 2026.
The session was conducted by Ms. Vaishali Tiwari, Committee Coordinator, Anti-Ragging Committee, to enhance studentsโ€™ awareness regarding anti-ragging measures, responsible peer behaviour and healthy inter-batch interactions.
Through interactive discussions and realistic case situations, students were guided to differentiate between appropriate corrective actions and ragging. The session emphasized that responsible peer guidance may involve respectfully reminding, guiding and reporting concerns through appropriate institutional channels, whereas humiliation, threats, intimidation, coercion or misuse of student authority are unacceptable.
The session also reinforced studentsโ€™ responsibility to maintain discipline while respecting the dignity, rights and well-being of every student.
On the same day, Anti-Ragging Pledge Taking was also conducted for the students of B.Sc. Nursing II Semester, reaffirming their commitment to maintaining a ragging-free, safe and respectful campus environment.

โ€œAnti-Ragging Measures: Responsible Peer Guidance and Inter-Batch Student Interactionโ€

As part of National Anti-Ragging Week 2026, an awareness session on โ€œAnti-Ragging Measures: Responsible Peer Guidance and Inter-Batch Student Interactionโ€ was organized for the students of B.Sc. Nursing III Semester on 13 August 2026.
The session was conducted by Ms. Vaishali Tiwari, Committee Coordinator, Anti-Ragging Committee, with the objective of sensitizing students about maintaining a safe, respectful and supportive educational environment.
The session focused on helping students understand the distinction between ragging and legitimate corrective actions or guidance provided by student council members and peers. Through case-based discussions and practical examples, students explored how respectful guidance regarding academic, clinical and institutional discipline differs from behaviour involving humiliation, intimidation, coercion, threats or misuse of student authority.
On the same day, Anti-Ragging Pledge Taking was also conducted for the students of B.Sc. Nursing III Semester, reaffirming their commitment to maintaining a ragging-free, safe and respectful campus environment.
The programme highlighted the shared responsibility of every student in promoting dignity, mutual respect, responsible peer guidance and positive inter-batch interaction.

Choithram College of Nursing celebrated Indiaโ€™s 80th Independence Day on 15th August 2026 with great patriotic spirit, enthusiasm, and pride.

The celebration commenced with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony, followed by the rendition of the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with a deep sense of patriotism and unity. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ

The Principal, Choithram College of Nursing, delivered an inspiring and thought-provoking address, highlighting the values of patriotism, responsibility, unity, and the role of students in building a stronger nation.

Choithram College of Nursing observed Anti-Ragging Day on 12 August 2026, marking the beginning of National Anti-Ragging Week (12โ€“18 August 2026). The initiative, conducted in accordance with the directives of the Government of India and UGC, aims to promote a safe, respectful, inclusive, and ragging-free campus environment.
On the first day, an Anti-Ragging Pledge Ceremony was conducted with the B.Sc. Nursing IV Year (2025โ€“2026 Batch). Students collectively pledged to stand against ragging, uphold dignity and respect, and contribute towards creating a campus where every student feels safe, valued, and included.
The week-long observance will further engage students through awareness and creative activities, including a Reel Making Competition on the theme: โ€œSay No to Ragging โ€“ Build a Culture of Respect, Compassion and Inclusion.โ€

The students presented an impactful awareness skit at Choithram Hospital & Research Centre based on the theme "Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Start in Life: Strengthen What Works," promoting the importance of breastfeeding for a healthier and sustainable future.

CHOITHRAM COLLEGE OF NURSING, INDORE proudly organized a Community Awareness Skit cm Health Education Programme on 6th August 2026 at Village Pipalda to commemorate World Breastfeeding Week 2026.

Aligned with the WABA Theme "Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Start in Life: Strengthen What Works", the programme aimed to create awareness about the importance of breastfeeding and promote sustainable practices for maternal and child health.

The event featured an engaging Community Awareness Skit, through which students effectively educated the community about the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding, proper infant feeding practices, and the vital role of family and community support in ensuring a healthy start to life.

As part of the celebration, an NSS-led Tree Plantation Drive was also conducted to promote environmental sustainability and reinforce the message that nurturing both children and nature is essential for a healthier future.

The programme was jointly organized by the Department of Child Health Nursing, Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecological Nursing, and Department of Community Health Nursing, reflecting the institution's commitment to community outreach, health promotion, and sustainable development.

Together, we continue to spread awareness and inspire positive change for healthier families and a greener tomorrow.
