National Olympiad Foundation is an excellent mix of new age social entrepreneurship and seasoned academic excellence, working in the arena of academic talent search and award through Olympiads. Headquartered in Mumbai, the foundation has on board eminent academician from varied educational background ranging from IITs to IIMs to experts from various professions like Chartered Accountancy to Indian

police and administrative services. The aim of NOF is to make the process of learning more interesting and also to assess the efficiency of leaning and depth of knowledge in a competitive environment. Education today has moved out of the textbooks into a more practical arena and knowledge alone cannot suffice for building and nurturing talent. Given the varied fields of application pertaining to all the subject matters, it is imperative that the youngsters not only get to know the practicality of what they are learning but should also have an in-depth understanding of the subject matter. Once they are through learning, understanding, comprehending and internalizing the nuances of any subject they need to assess the same not internally but amongst their peer group which would also be their competition in the professional arena at the later stages of their career. National Olympiad Foundation is just facilitating that platform where all the young minds can come together and compete with each other in a healthy environment. The performers would then be recognized and awarded by NOF while the key take away for the others would be a motivation to dig deeper into their field of interest and start working sincerely towards attaining wisdom.
