मछली पकड़ने वाले जाल में फंसी ये छोटा सा कछुआ शायद मर जाता लेकिन “धवल लक्ष्मी” ने हार नहीं मानी। 🌊
महाराष्ट्र के दहानू तट के पास वह घायल हालत में मिली थी। उसके आगे के फ्लिपर्स बुरी तरह घायल थे और उसकी जान बच पाना भी मुश्किल लग रहा था। कई महीनों तक इलाज और देखभाल के बाद उसके खोल पर एक छोटा Satellite Tracker लगाया गया और उसे फिर से अरब सागर में छोड़ दिया गया। लेकिन इसके बाद जो हुआ, उसने वैज्ञानिकों को भी हैरान कर दिया। जहां ज्यादातर Olive Ridley कछुए भारत के पश्चिमी तट के आसपास ही रहते हैं, वहीं धवल लक्ष्मी ने अरब सागर के गहरे पानी में
करीब 3,500 किलोमीटर का सफर तय कर लिया, लगभग ओमान के तट तक। फिर आया सबसे बड़ा मोड़। जब वैज्ञानिकों को लगा कि अब वह ओमान के Masirah Island की ओर जाएगा,
जो कछुओं के nesting region के लिए जाना जाता है, तभी धवल लक्ष्मी अचानक मुड़ गया और वापस भारतीय समुद्री क्षेत्र की ओर लौटने लगा।
उसकी कहानी को एक और बात खास बनाती है,
महाराष्ट्र में Tag किए गए 8 कछुओं में धवल लक्ष्मी अकेला है, जिसका पहले इलाज और Rehabilitation किया गया था। ♥️
वही नन्हा जीव आज हजारों किलोमीटर का समुद्री सफर तय कर हिम्मत और जिंदा रहने की मिसाल बन गया। ✨
अगर एक छोटा सा जीव इतने संघर्ष के बाद भी
समंदर पार कर अपना रास्ता ढूंढ सकता है, शायद असली हिम्मत ऐसी ही दिखती होगी!
