Request to Revise In-Service Bonus Criteria for Rajasthan Medical Officers – 2025 Batch

Medical Officers appointed in 2025 and serving in rural areas of Rajasthan are facing a genuine issue due to the changed NEET-PG examination and counselling schedule.

As per the existing system, rural service provides 10% bonus for 1 year, 20% for 2 years and 30% for 3 years of service. However, the eligibility cut-off appears to be based on the earlier NEET-PG calendar, when the examination was conducted around January and counselling was completed around March–April.

The NEET-PG schedule has now shifted considerably. For the 2025 batch, many Medical Officers will have completed one year of rural service by the time of NEET-PG 2026, and their service period may reach around 1.5 years by the time of counselling. Yet, due to the old cut-off, they may not receive the corresponding in-service benefit.

We request the Government of Rajasthan to revise the criteria in line with the present NEET-PG schedule.

The service period may be considered up to the date of NEET-PG examination, or preferably up to the date of counselling,

Requesting and the concerned Medical & Health and Finance authorities to kindly examine this issue and consider an appropriate amendment in the rules.

Multiple major news outlets reporting that the NEET-PG 2026 answer key/response sheet is expected today, but NBEMS has not officially announced a release date or time, and its current official notice page does not show an answer-key release notification.

NEET-PG 2026 Answer Key: Clarification Needed

Several major news platforms are reporting that NBEMS will release the NEET-PG 2026 provisional answer key and response sheet today, creating expectations among lakhs of aspirants. However, NBEMS has not officially confirmed any release date or time yet.

Can NBEMS_Official please clarify whether the answer key/response sheet is being released today, and if so, by what time?

Candidates are already anxious after the examination and re-examination process. A clear official update would prevent unnecessary confusion and speculation.

Please communicate directly through the official NBEMS platform rather than leaving candidates dependent on media reports.

Big Win for Madhya Pradesh Medical Interns! 🩺✊

After sustained protests and discussions with the government, Madhya Pradesh has decided to increase the stipend of medical interns to ₹21,500 per month.

A delegation of MBBS, MD, and intern doctors met Deputy CM Shri Rajendra Shukla, following which the government accepted the demand and the interns called off their strike.

This is a major victory for medical interns, recognising their workload, long working hours and contribution to patient care. 👏

Now the focus should be on timely implementation of the revised stipend across all medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh.

Big Win for J&K Medical Students! 🩺🔥

A significant development for medical interns in Jammu & Kashmir. Following discussions with the Hon’ble Minister for Health & Medical Education, the government has decided that the medical interns’ stipend enhancement matter will be finalised within 30 days based on the recommendations of the Stipend Enhancement Committee constituted under Government Order No. 538-JK(HME) of 2023.

The decision recognises the workload, responsibilities and crucial role of medical interns in patient care and hospital services.

Most importantly, the interns have agreed to call off their strike and resume duties, keeping patient care and their academic & professional interests in mind.

This is a positive step, but the real victory will be the timely implementation of the revised stipend. ✊

यह देखकर वास्तव में बहुत अफसोस होता है कि आज कल मेडिकल कॉलेजों में मेडिकल शिक्षा और बुनियादी सुविधाओं की स्थिति किस स्तर तक पहुँच गई है।

मैं मानता हूँ कि देश की बढ़ती जरूरतों को देखते हुए समय के साथ मेडिकल कॉलेजों और MBBS सीटों की संख्या बढ़नी चाहिए, लेकिन विस्तार की होड़ में गुणवत्ता, फैकल्टी, इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर, उपकरण, लाइब्रेरी और क्लिनिकल एक्सपोज़र से समझौता नहीं होना चाहिए।

NMC से मेरा विनम्र अनुरोध है कि मेडिकल कॉलेजों का निरीक्षण पूरी तरह निष्पक्ष, पारदर्शी और समान मानकों के आधार पर किया जाए।
चाहे कॉलेज सरकारी हो, किसी राजनेता का हो, किसी बड़े उद्योगपति का हो या किसी अन्य प्रभावशाली व्यक्ति का—नियम और मानक सभी के लिए समान होने चाहिए।

अगर किसी कॉलेज में निर्धारित मानकों के अनुरूप फैकल्टी, इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर या सुविधाएं नहीं हैं, तो केवल कागजी अनुपालन के आधार पर उसे मान्यता या सीटें नहीं मिलनी चाहिए।

मेडिकल शिक्षा की गुणवत्ता पर बड़ा सवाल!

NMC ने देशभर के मेडिकल कॉलेजों में कार्यरत “डमी फैकल्टी” के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की तैयारी शुरू कर दी है।

जो लोग कागजों पर मेडिकल कॉलेज में जॉइन हैं, लेकिन वास्तव में न पढ़ाते हैं, न क्लिनिकल ट्रेनिंग देते हैं और न ही छात्रों के साथ अकादमिक गतिविधियों में शामिल होते हैं, ऐसे मामलों की जांच अब गंभीरता से होनी चाहिए।

डमी फैकल्टी के कारण सीधे तौर पर Medical Education की Quality, Clinical Training और भविष्य के डॉक्टरों की क्षमता प्रभावित होती है। आखिर इसका खामियाजा मरीजों को क्यों भुगतना पड़े?

यदि किसी फैकल्टी की उपस्थिति सिर्फ फर्जी दस्तावेजों, कागजी रिकॉर्ड या वेतन लेने तक सीमित है, तो ऐसे मामलों में केवल नोटिस नहीं बल्कि कठोर कानूनी और नियामक कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए।

NMC द्वारा CBI को सूची सौंपना एक सकारात्मक कदम है। उम्मीद है कि जांच निष्पक्ष और समयबद्ध होगी तथा दोषियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

NEET-PG 2026 Admit Card Issue

NBEMS had initially announced 24 August 2026 as the date for the release of the NEET-PG 2026 Admit Card. However, even on 25 August, candidates are still unable to download their Admit Cards due to login/server/technical issues.

With the examination scheduled for 30 August 2026, candidates need sufficient time to:
➡️ Know their exact exam centre
➡️ Plan travel and accommodation
➡️ Make necessary arrangements
➡️ Prepare mentally and logistically for the examination

If there is a technical/server issue, NBEMS and the concerned technical agency should resolve it urgently and ensure that the portal functions smoothly.

Candidates should not be left in uncertainty just a few days before one of the most important examinations of their careers.

Please resolve the issue at the earliest and ensure timely access to Admit Cards and examination-centre details.

🩺 राजस्थान में डॉक्टरों की संख्या बढ़ी, लेकिन अस्पतालों में पद खाली क्यों?

प्रकाशित खबर एक बेहद महत्वपूर्ण सवाल उठाती है—

2020 में 2,000 मेडिकल ऑफिसर पदों पर भर्ती हुई, जबकि 2026 में सिर्फ 600 पदों पर भर्ती!

वहीं, खबर के अनुसार सरकारी अस्पतालों में करीब 4,000 पद खाली हैं। दूसरी ओर पिछले वर्षों में राजस्थान मेडिकल काउंसिल में डॉक्टरों का रजिस्ट्रेशन लगातार बढ़ा है।

सवाल यह है कि जब आबादी, मरीजों और स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं की जरूरत लगातार बढ़ रही है, तो मेडिकल ऑफिसर की भर्ती सिर्फ 600 पदों तक सीमित क्यों?

👉 कई PHC, CHC, SDH और जिला अस्पतालों में डॉक्टरों के पद रिक्त हैं।
👉 कई जगह एक डॉक्टर को अतिरिक्त/दोहरी जिम्मेदारी संभालनी पड़ रही है।
👉 डॉक्टरों पर बढ़ता workload सीधे मरीजों की healthcare delivery को प्रभावित करता है।
👉 ग्रामीण और दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों में इसका सबसे ज्यादा असर आम जनता पर पड़ता है।

राजस्थान को विकसित राज्य बनाना है तो सबसे पहले स्वस्थ राजस्थान बनाना होगा।

NMC Draft Update
Major Changes Proposed for Medical Registration

The NMC has proposed amendments to the Registration of Medical Practitioners & Licence to Practice Medicine Regulations, 2023, which could significantly simplify medical registration across India.

🔹 One Registration, Nationwide Practice: Once registered with an SMC and allotted an NMR UID, doctors may be able to practice across India without obtaining fresh registration in every State/UT.

🔹 Unified Digital Portal: Registration and licence-related applications proposed through the NMC/EMRB unified portal.

🔹 National Medical Register: UID-based NMR with synchronization of State Medical Registers.

🔹 Greater Transparency: Licence status, suspension, disciplinary action, removal and restoration orders to be reflected in the NMR.

🔹 5-Year Licence: Proposed validity of 5 years, with inactive status if renewal is not completed within 3 months after expiry.

🔹 Professional Misconduct: The SMC having territorial jurisdiction over the place where the alleged cause of action occurred may conduct the inquiry.

🔹 Appeal Provision: Rejection of registration/licence may be appealed before EMRB within 30 days.

🔹 FMGs: FMGE is specifically recognised under the draft framework until NExT comes into force, subject to applicable regulations.

🔹 Foreign Doctors: Temporary registration for foreign nationals undergoing PG/Super-specialty training may be permitted for up to 24 months, followed by a proposed 1-year cooling-off period.

⚠️ Important: These are DRAFT regulations and are not yet final. NMC has invited objections and suggestions for 30 days.

A unified, transparent and portable registration system could be a major step towards reducing unnecessary administrative hurdles for doctors practicing across States.

👉 Doctors and medical organisations should carefully review the draft and submit constructive suggestions within the stipulated period.
