Most of us think that packaged juice is a healthy alternative to cold drinks. The problem is we prefer this juice thinking that we are consuming something natural and healthy as compared to a cold drink.

For example, one of the favorite packed juice is orange juice which is readily available and it claims to have all the goodness of the natural fruit. Even most of the parents prefer to give this packed juice to their children thinking that it's healthy and if their children are not consuming any fruits and vegetables, these packed juices would be the best snack for them.

So if we analyze the nutrition value of the so-called healthy packaged juice, we will be shocked, it is not only high in calories but it is full of SUGAR.

2. ๐ƒ๐„๐“๐Ž๐— ๐จ๐ซ ๐Š๐„๐“๐Ž- As we know, half knowledge is dangerous. If you follow an extreme detox diet - chances are it will destroy our metabolism and our body will adapt to the low-calorie intake. When we reintroduce salt and processed food even slightly, you will quickly gain weight.

3. ๐“๐‡๐ˆ๐๐Š๐ˆ๐๐† ๐Ž๐… ๐ƒ๐ˆ๐„๐“ ๐€๐’ ๐€ ๐‚๐Ž๐”๐‘๐’๐„ - Most people think dieting as a onetime course. They want to quickly lose those extra kilos and start eating all the junk food again. Of course, everybody wants to cheat a bit but note balance is the key. If you don't learn how to balance during your diet program, your weight will definitely bounce back.

4. ๐‡๐€๐๐ˆ๐“ ๐ˆ๐’ ๐“๐‡๐„ ๐Š๐„๐˜ - When we follow a diet program, we do several things. If the program is customized and fits into our routine, we start learning about our body like what is good for you and what is to be avoided. Over time you know how to sustain your weight or even lose weight.

You must be wondering that Chinese food has a lot of vegetables, most of the recipes are steamed and low in fat so but not exactly.

Chinese food can be unhealthy as any other fast food ;

1. Full of Monosodium Glutamate: Chinese restaurant food mostly contain MSG that is dangerous for our waistline, blood pressure.

2. Most of the chinese restuarant food is pre-cooked. Starting from noodles and fried rice are pre-cooked hours and days before you consume them, this can cause serious health condition like food poisoning..

3. Full of sugar: Most of the authentic Chinese recipes don't have so much sugar but due to globalisation the recipes are altered to suit the taste buds of everyone. This can be a very bad food choice for those who are struggling with belly fat, heart conditions and diabetes.

Does that mean all Chinese food are unhealthy and I cannot have Chinese food??

No, we are not saying to ignore Chinese cuisines completely. If you can prepare Chinese food at home without the chemicals and the starch it can be one of the healthiest cuisines on this planet.

In case you want to eat outside some of the healthy Chinese options that you can include in your diet are steamed vegetable momos,, steamed chicken, and fish preferably without sauce.
