Under the aegis of Directorate of Ayush J&K, guidance of Dr. Ajay Tikoo Worthy Director Ayush J&K and supervision of Dr. Aruna Bhat Medical Superintendent Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu, A disaster preparedness mockdrill was conducted as per the detailed disaster preparedness program being implemented as per instructions of Worthy Director Ayush J&K. In this regard a hospital disaster committee has been constituted to converge with other departments for conducting various mockdrills and capacity building trainings. In order to boost disaster preparedness, various signages like Disaster and Emergency codes, Fire Extinguisher manuals, Evacuation route guideing signages were displayed. Live demonstrations of fire emergency and patient evacuation, Basic life support and CPR were also made during the mockdrill. In this mockdrill all Medical, Paramedical Staff, BAMS Interns and Under trainee pharmacists participated. Under the guidance of worthy Director Ayush J &K Dr. Ajay Kumar Tikoo sir and supervision of Respected Medical superintendent Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital, jammu Dr. Aruna Bhat. An awareness camp on Hepatitis and its preventive strategies organized at Integrated Dhanwantri Block wherein public from all walks of life, patients, attendants and students participated. Dr. Monika Rathore gave a detailed presentation on causes and factors responsible for various types of Hepatitis along with prevention strategies. Dr. Arun Gupta highlighted about preconceptional, antenatal and breastfeeding implications of Viral Hepatitis testing, Ayurvedic Strategies to prevent infective and inflammatory hepatitis like use of various herbs and ayurvedic medicines. 42 participants participated in the community based Hepatitis awareness program which is initiated by Dr. Aruna Bhat Medical Superintendent GAH Jammu. Under the aegis of Directorate of Ayush J&K, guidance of Dr. Ajay Tikoo Worthy Director Ayush J&K and supervision of Dr. Aruna Bhat Medical Superintendent Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu, Phototherapy service being provided to newborns for neonatal jaundice at PTSR Unit GAH. This helps in providing end to end care for mother and children registered in Supraja Program. Breast feeding guidance to new mothers by MPW Supraja and Ayurveda based neonatal care Shiro Pichu, Nabhi Naal Vrana karma also provided.

Under the guidance of worthy Director Ayush J &K Dr. Ajay Kumar Tikoo sir and supervision of Respected Medical superintendent Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital, jammu Dr. Aruna Bhat. An awareness camp regarding hepatitis B is organised at Govt .women college Gandhinagar Jammu today on 24-08-2026 by Govt Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu. Dr. Dilawar Khan (Medical officer)and Dr Amardeep Kour (specialist NAM) delivered a lecture on Hepatitis B along with interns (Gopika and Danish) and paramedic staff. Blood grouping was also done in the camp for almost 75 beneficiaries.
