WORLD RURAL MEDICAL ASSOCIATION (WRMA) recognises and affiliates Indian Rural Medical Association (IRMA) and its training DIVISION INDIAN INSTITUTE FOR HEALTH TRAINING (IIHT) to all the courses pertaining to primary health care such as Community Medical Service (CMS) Essential Drug Training (EDT) as recommended by WHO for developing countries on sanitation (SIT) Rural Health (RHP). ation (PET), Family Planning (FP), Vaccination (VACC), Malaria Control, AIDS, S*x Education, Immunization, Child Survival and Safe Motherhood Program. Safe Environment and Pollution control and any othe components partaining to public and community health. Infact, these trainings are being imparted since 1979 by IRMA and other sister organizations of Victnam, Cuba, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakisthan etc, after the WHO's Alma Ata declaration "Health for All by 2000. India being is a signatory member of WHO & to such proposal at the conference, princiapally accepted the health scheme and gave an open call to all, including the NGOs functioning at that time to help the Govt. In the year 1983 finally this scheme was adopted in the parliament of India. Since then, we are working in this field of training of health workers all over India and offering CMS & EDT Certificate to our successful trainees.
