Virtual Dissection Table & Anatomy Simulation Lab inaugurated at Ayurveda University, Jodhpur

The first Virtual Dissection Table and Anatomy Simulation Lab among the AYUSH colleges affiliated with Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurveda University has been established at PGIA, Jodhpur.

The state-of-the-art facility was inaugurated by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Vaidya) Govind Sahay Shukla. He highlighted that modern digital technology, 3D visualization, and interactive learning will make anatomy education more practical, scientific, and skill-oriented.

Students of Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, and Yoga & Naturopathy will benefit from this advanced facility for teaching, practical learning, and research.

Prof. Mahendra Kumar Sharma, Head, Department of Rachana Sharir, expressed gratitude to the university administration for this significant academic initiative.

Statue of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, Founder of Homoeopathy, Unveiled at Ayurveda University, Jodhpur

Jodhpur, 24 September 2026: Under the gracious presence of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Vaidya) Govind Sahay Shukla, a statue unveiling ceremony of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of Homoeopathy, was organised at the University College of Homoeopathy, Jodhpur, constituent college of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur.

The statue was unveiled by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Vaidya) Govind Sahay Shukla. The ceremony was attended by Registrar Shri Sohan Lal, Dean Faculty of Ayurveda & Nodal Officer Prof. (Dr.) Govind Prasad Gupta, Principal UCH Prof. (Dr.) Gaurav Nagar, Prof. (Dr.) Rajaram Agarwal, Dr. Chandrabhan Sharma, Dr. Mahendra Patwa, Heads of Departments, faculty members and students.

Addressing the gathering, Prof. (Vaidya) Govind Sahay Shukla highlighted the holistic approach of Homoeopathy and stated that Dr. Hahnemann’s dedication to humanity and his contribution to the development of Homoeopathy will continue to inspire students and healthcare professionals.

Prof. (Dr.) Gaurav Nagar, Principal, UCH, highlighted the life and contributions of Dr. Hahnemann and encouraged teachers and students to remain dedicated and sincere in their professional responsibilities.

The programme was coordinated and concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. (Dr.) Gauri Sharma, Head, Department of Organon of Medicine and Medical Superintendent. The ceremony concluded with a collective commitment to advancing Homoeopathy and serving society, inspired by the ideals and spirit of humanitarian service of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann.
