Fatigue and headaches are often linked to dehydration—but it’s rarely just a lack of plain water.
Low sodium (salt), potassium, magnesium, and fluid are frequently the real issue. Mild dehydration and electrolyte imbalance can reduce energy, impair focus, and trigger head pain.
Simply drinking lots of water isn’t always the fix and can sometimes dilute electrolytes further. Adding salt, potassium, and magnesium along with water usually works better—especially if you’re active, in heat, or following a low-carb diet.
Address the electrolytes and fluid together.
