As per Ayurveda, oils also have their own nature - hot, cold, light, heavy. Choosing the right one can help your digestion and balance ✨

Here are 5 common cooking oils and their nature 👇

1️⃣ Mustard Oil - hot and sharp in nature, good for Kapha, best for deep frying and tadka, but heavy if you have acidity 🔥

2️⃣ Ghee / Cow Ghee - cold in nature after digestion, light and easy to digest, best for Pitta and Vata, good for roasting and daily cooking 💛

3️⃣ Coconut Oil - cold in nature, good for Pitta, best for South Indian cooking and light saute, can increase Kapha if overused 🥥

4️⃣ Sesame Oil / Til Oil - hot and heavy in nature, excellent for Vata, best for winter cooking and Ayurvedic tadka 🖤

5️⃣ Olive Oil- Neutral, good for all, not meant for frying and regular Indian cooking only to be added as a dressing or can be used raw 🫒

Always choose cold-pressed, use in moderation and as per your body prakriti 🙏
