Hystero-Salpingography (HSG)

Hysterosalpingography (HSG) is a specialized, fluoroscopic X-ray procedure used to visualize the inside of the uterus and fallopian tubes. Primarily used to evaluate infertility, it detects uterine abnormalities and tubal blockages by injecting contrast dye.
The procedure is usually scheduled 7–10 days after the menstrual period starts.
