On this World Obesity Day, let’s move beyond blame and focus on awareness, science, and sustainable change. Obesity is not a lack of willpower — it is a complex metabolic condition influenced by nutrition, lifestyle, stress, sleep, hormones, and environment.
As a dietitian, my goal is not just weight loss, but restoring metabolic balance, improving fatty liver, controlling diabetes and hypertension, and building a healthy relationship with food.
