When you go to yoga class and attempt to do forward bend asana, you are likely to hear. "Bend from hip, not from waist" what does it mean exactly? When we go forward bending we basically have three option; Swan Dive( hyper extension lower back and anterior pelvic). Neutral spine(Normal arch of lower back) and Nose Dive( Bend from waist or round shaped of lower back). "Swan dive" position creates too much pressure on our disc posteriorly due to over arch of lower back. In "Nose dive" exactly opposite thing happend due to round shaped(Flexion) lumber or lower spine anterior disc compression on our disc which can aggravate herniated disc issue. So best option is to whenever you attempt forward bend Asana you bend from your hip with Neutral Spine ( Maintain Normal arch of your lower spine) and try to engage your core. In next time we will discuss how to find out our Normal Spine position.

Take same posture as previous pranayama abdominal breath. Now I am going to discuss full Yogic Breath. This breath mainly we do to enhance our lung capacity. So let's began, in this breath we will take long inhalation and long exhalation as maximum as possible. When starting inhaling we concentrating first on our abdomen then our chest or thorax and then throat and emmagine that we are filling those area with oxygen. Then with the same way we will exhale. With that, everytime when we are breathing we can think that the positive energy coming in our body and with exhaling negative energy excreating from our body. We can do it for 10 to 20 times as our comfort zone. People who suffering from any lung or heart disease please do not try this without your Doctor permission. So let's practicing this and increase our lungs capacity. Breath more in better and proper way.
