"Sometimes something walks into your life quietly, settles down slowly, and before you know it, it has changed your life completely. For me, that was Tai Chi.
Hi, I am Elizabeth, an avid Tai Chi practitioner and a licensed instructor.
Post my cancer treatment, I was looking for something to help rehabilitate my body. Providence led me to Tai Chi, and under the guidance of my wonderful teachers, Kartikey Shukla and Sylvia Das, I began my journey of healing—not just physical, but also mental and spiritual.
Today, almost 10 years later, I am keeping in good health overall, stronger than before, much more energized, and with a zest for life. But more than anything else, Tai Chi has taught me mindfulness and calm. The slow, meditative movements have helped to settle my restless mind considerably and have increased my connection with nature and with people.
If you're looking for a quick fix for your health, then Tai Chi is not for you. But if you're looking for something lifelong, meaningful, life-changing, then Tai Chi is for you.
In gratitude."
