INSTITUTE OF SEROLOGY The institute of serology,kolkata under Ministry of helth & family welfare,Govt of India is a pioner Institute in the country.

We are starting with Forensic Serology as its core activity,over the years the Institute has branched out into different field of serology,immounology,VDRL antigen antisera prouductoin,STD training & research and Polio virus isolation from stool samples AFP cases(under the aegis of WHO).Additionally,since 2007,WHO National Measels lboratory has started functioning at the Institute .Recently WHO PCR laboratory has also been established for Intra typic differentiation of Polio virus.
