Honoured to have delivered a talk last weekend on “Integrating Oral Semaglutide into Cardiovascular Risk Management” at a Continuing Medical Education (CME) program in Kolkata.
It was a privilege to share the stage with distinguished colleagues and have the session moderated by my respected teacher and mentor, Prof. (Dr.) Apurba Kumar Mukherjee, former Head of the Department of Medicine, R.G. Kar Medical College.
Medicine is constantly evolving, and staying updated with emerging cardiometabolic therapies is essential to providing the best care to our patients.

It was a wonderful and enriching experience attending “Practice Management for Better Patient Care” at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, the #1 Management Institute in India
This unique learning experience reinforced an important lesson: great healthcare is not only about medical expertise, but also about communication, efficiency, empathy, and patient-centered systems.
Looking forward to applying these insights to serve my patients even better.

Honoured to speak on “Wearables, AI, and Digital Electrophysiology” at the annual Year in Cardiology conference at ITC Sonar held on 30-31st May
It was an incredible academic feast surrounded by the giants of cardiology. Sharing the stage with my mentors and the very luminaries who inspire my work was an absolute dream come true.

On May 8th, We at Peerless Hospitals and BK Roy Research Centre successfully conducted its maiden CRT workshop programme.
Under the expert guidance of Dr UK Saha, Head of Department, participants engaged in detailed discussions on innovative CRT devices for advanced heart failure and gained hands-on experience.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from budding cardiologists across Kolkata. Notably, 3 live cases - one CRT-D and 2 CRT-P - were demonstrated in a span of just one day.
CRT or Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy is a treatment modality wherein a pacemaker-like device is utilized to augment the heart's pumping function and enhance the quality of life of heart failure patients.

The event was a true academic extravaganza, with in-depth discussions on the latest trends in cardiology. Notably, I played multiple roles - speaker, panelist, hall manager, and organizer - which added to the significance of the experience.
