We are proud to announce the launch of
𝗩𝗔𝗦𝗨𝗗𝗛𝗔 — the Society for Ethnopharmacology India Women's Forum.

Dedicated to the women who have long been at the heart of traditional medicine knowledge, yet underrepresented in the science built around it. Women researchers, practitioners, and knowledge- holders bring perspectives, lived experiences, and community relationships that are essential to ethnopharmacology. From tribal women who carry generations of folklore medicine, to the next generation of young scientists in our laboratories — VASUDHA exists to ensure their voices shape the future of the field.

At the Society for Ethnopharmacology India, we believe that meaningful progress in traditional and indigenous systems of medicine requires more than research. It requires collaboration, trust, and responsible innovation.

i-Connect is our flagship Academia–Industry Business Meet, designed to bring together industry leaders, scientists, researchers, and innovators on a common platform to create impact-driven partnerships.

Built on the vision of “Globalizing local knowledge and localizing global technologies,” i-Connect serves as a bridge between scientific excellence and real-world application.

The recent **Academia–Industry Interaction at SFEC 2026 held at National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Mohali reflected the growing momentum of such collaborations. Discussions on AI in ethnopharmacology, translational research, and evidence-based integration highlighted the urgent need for platforms like i-Connect.

An invitation to industry leaders

We invite forward-thinking organizations to be part of i-Connect and partner with SFE-India in promoting responsible, science-driven, and impactful business practices in traditional medicine.

Together, we can create a future where tradition and science work hand in hand for global health.
