NHM J&K Reviews Functioning of AAMs, Identifies Key Gaps in Healthcare Service Delivery
Kulgam, June 23:Representatives of the Mission Directorate, National Health Mission (NHM) Jammu and Kashmir comprising of Dr Akhtar Wani ,Dr Musa Imtiyaz,Dr Mir Mohd Iqbal and Mr Jamsheed Bakshi conducted a review meeting on Tuesday to assess the functioning of Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AAMs) and various national health programmes across the district. The Meeting was attended by BMOs,DPMU,BPMU,MLHPs,store keepers and RBSK Teams
During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted which was followed by orientation and facilitation for effective implementation of the programmes.
The various sessions focussed on Effective implementation of Anaemia Mukt Bharat programme at grads root level through AAMs and in convergence with ICDS and Education departmen.
Another session focussed on effective DVDMS implementation . It was stressed to generate rational demands for drugs and diagnostics so as to make availability of Essential diagnostics and drugs available at the health centres.
The District Store Keeper along with Block store keepers shall make a rational demand so as to provide effective services to the people.
Besides , the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) was reviewed and instructions were passed to all Health centres to conduct Internal assesments and identify the gaps for intervention.
For smooth implementation and functioning of the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) ,it was instructed that RBSK team shall be primarily utilised for RBSK Programe so as to improve indicators of the programme. The ANM/ Pharmacists shall upload the Hb screening on the Uwin portal.
The MLHPs shall not be put on night duties and shall implement the CPHC effectively at AAM level.
The Incharge PHCs shall be responsible for implementation of programmes at PHC level.
