How Alcohol Causes Fatty Liver
The liver is responsible for processing alcohol. When alcohol is consumed regularly or in excessive amounts, the liver focuses on breaking down alcohol instead of metabolizing fats efficiently. As a result, fat begins to accumulate in liver cells, leading to fatty liver disease.
If alcohol consumption continues, fatty liver can progress to liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis, and permanent liver damage.
Diet Guide for Fatty Liver:
1) Stop alcohol consumption completely.
2)Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins.
3) Reduce sugary drinks, sweets, and processed foods.
4)Limit fried and high-fat foods.
5)Drink plenty of water.
6) Maintain a healthy body weight and exercise regularly.
Early lifestyle changes can help reverse fatty liver and improve overall liver health.
