The most difficult pain is the one, which we cannot tell anyone.......
Just think about it... A doctor who listened to the confusion of people's mind everyday, who explains to others that hard times can pass, life can handle but what was going on in her mind... Maybe even the people around her didn't know it. This is the most dangerous thing about the intelligent battle.
Not every troubled person seems to cry. Some people are absolutely normal or pretend to look normal. Work, talk to people, smile... And inside are constantly tired.
One aspect of understanding this in psychology is that a person can look normal on the outside if one keeps suppressing feelings for a long time, but inside the tension continues to increase and the most sad thing is that our society often cares for someone's silence. "Attitude" considers distance as "pride" and the habit of being alone as "mood".
We don't even try to ask - "are you really okay? ”
It's not necessary for every strong looking person to be strong inside, sometimes human don't need a solution... No big advice, no speech. Just need someone close who can listen and understand his words without judging.
Maybe the question isn't why she kept quiet... The question is how much space did our society give her to speak?
We live in a society where mental trouble is often considered as weakness before illness.
If you are upset, it is said- "Don't think too much. ”
If you are crying then it is said. "Be strong. ”
If you are tired then it is said that "Everyone has problems in their life. ”
This is where a psychological process begins—Emotional Suppression, that means not expressing your feelings outside.
One repeatedly stops the pain because he/she is afraid of what people will think. This fear can slowly become self-stigma—the fear of judgment of others sits so much inside that humans feel ashamed of their own problems.
Again comes the masking.
Smiling from the outside... Being normal at work... Talking to people properly... And keep hiding the battle going on within.
Why?
Because society has given us a strange training— if you show pain people will question, if you show weakness people will judge, and if you ask for help, you will probably be blamed.
So many people start explaining themselves before they ask for help—
“I will take care of it. ”
"What is the use of telling someone? ”
"What will people think? ”
Who will understand me? ”
And slowly the person starts hiding the pain from oneself, not from others.
We must understand this—not every silent person is okay. Not every smiling person is happy and not every strong-looking person needs help—it's wrong to admit.
Sometimes big things are not required to save a human being.
Just want an environment where we can say without shame, without fear and without judgment—
I am not okay. ”
And the one in front shouldn't say it—
"Be strong. ”
Just say this—
"Okay... Sit down. Tell me first. I am with you"
