This thin layer is the h***n.
It is a soft. elastic tissue located at the opening of the vaaina - not a seal, not a barrier, and not somethina that "breaks" in one moment.
As you can see, it can stretch and return to its shape. That's because the h***n is flexible and responds to movement, iust like other tissues in your body.
Over time, it may naturally stretch due to everyday activities like physical exercise, stretching, or using period products such as tampons or menstrual cups.
This is whv the idea that the hvmen can determine "virginity" is not medically accurate. There is no scientific way to define virginity based on the bodv, and the hvmen does not act as proof of it.
Every body is different - some hvmens are more elastic some may change more over time, and some people may have very little h***nal tissue to begin with. All of this is completelv normal.
Understanding how your body actually works helps you make informed, confident choices - without fear or misinformation. 💛
