With Rains Monsoon also invites many disease like, Water borne, Air Borne & Mosquito Borne.
During Monsoon our immune system becomes more weak, our digestive system slows down which lead to bloating, Gas, Acidity & Indigestion.
But you don't need to worry if you keep check on the foods you eat.
🏳️🌈 This is the season of gourd vegetables. Add all the gourd veggies like bitter gourd, bottle gourd, sponge gourd, etc. & take a break from leafy vegetables.
🏳️🌈 Hydrate yourself with water only instead of aerated beverages & caffeine as they dehydrate body's fluids.
🏳️🌈 Milk is hard to digest in monsoon so you can replace it with curd or buttermilk to meet your calcium and protein requirements. Curd is also a probiotic that can kill bad bacteria and keep your gut healthy.
🏳️🌈 Include seasonal fruits in your diet like Pears, Peach, Plums, Cherries, Pomegranate. To prevent bloating in monsoon avoid high water content fruits like watermelon, muskmelons, mangoes.
🏳️🌈 Avoid raw salads instead boil, stir fry or steam it to kill the germs. Also avoid raw eggs & raw seafood.
🏳️🌈 Avoid Fermentation of food because during that process there are chances of increasing bacteria in your food which can affect your gut health.
🏳️🌈 Lastly Get enough sleep & Exercise. These are the best immunity booster.
