Setu Bandhasana (Bridge Pose)
is a gentle reminder that strength and softness can exist together.

This grounding backbend helps open the chest, awaken the spine, and release tension that builds from long hours of sitting or emotional stress.

It strengthens the back body while encouraging the front body to soften and open.

Benefits:
Improves posture
Strengthens glutes and lower back
Opens chest and shoulders
Supports nervous system regulation
Helps relieve stiffness from prolonged sitting

Avoid or modify if you have:
neck injuries
recent spinal surgery
severe knee pain
uncontrolled hypertension

Move slowly.
Breathe steadily.
And let the body rise without force.

Your yoga mat is not just something you stand on, it’s the space where you meet yourself

We often think yoga begins when the posture begins.
But sometimes, it begins much earlier - in the way we approach the mat itself.

Not hurried nor distracted nor unaware

The mat is more than rubber on the floor.
It is a space of awareness.

We step onto it consciously during practice - and mindfully avoid stepping on it otherwise.
Not out of ritual alone, but out of respect for the space where we return to ourselves.

The way we unroll the mat, smooth it, step onto it, and arrive there reflects the way we are arriving within ourselves.

Today unroll your mat slowly-and notice how it changes the energy of your practice.

Sometimes balance is not something we find outside — it begins with the breath. 🌿

Anulom Vilom, the practice of alternate nostril breathing, gently harmonizes the nervous system and brings steadiness to the mind.
One side softens. One side energizes.
With each breath, the body remembers balance again

Slow inhale.
Gentle exhale.
A quiet return to the center.

Try 5 slow rounds today and notice how your mind feels afterward.
Have you practiced Anulom Vilom before?

To the mothers who hold so much with quiet strength.

The ones who nurture, guide, protect, and love - even on the days they feel tired themselves.
The ones whose presence becomes a safe place for others to rest.

May you remember today that your care matters.
Your softness matters.
Your sacrifices, seen or unseen, matter deeply.

And may you also give a little of that same love back to yourself.

Happy Mother’s Day from Yogapragny. 💜

When the mind feels noisy, the answer is not more effort… it’s vibration.

Bhramari Pranayama, the gentle humming breath, soothes the nervous system and quiets mental chatter.
As the soft hum fills your head, it creates a cocoon of calm-like a vibration that dissolves restlessness from within.

It’s not just breath…
it’s a return to inner stillness.

Try 5 gentle humming breaths today and notice the shift
