Cricket tournament report
IDA Cricket carnival 2.0 was an exciting unique cricket tournament that brought together dental professionals from various regions. Unlike traditional tournaments this event highlighted the sporting spirit of dentist offering them a platform to showcase the cricketing skills while standing professional bonds and camaraderie.
*Organisation and structure -
The tournament was well organised with participation from multiple teams representing dentists from different zones like Kalyan,Dombivli,Thane,Borivali etc.The competition followed a Round Robin league matches and these were followed by Knockout matches to the finale.
Matches were conducted in the T20 format with 5 overs each,making the game fast paced and engaging.
The event was managed efficiently with proper scheduling match officials and the scoring system and wonderful and engrossing commemtry in place.
Participating teams
Team consisted entirely of practicing dentists from different localities and clinics.
Each team had 08 players led by captain who coordinated strategies and decisions making on the field the diversity of participants added a special champ as professionals from various backgrounds came together through the shed love for cricket.

The tournament witnessed several thrilling moments
With impressive batting performances by many a batsmen, skillful bowling spells with crucial wickets at key moments, few of excellent fielding efforts and turned matches around and kept spectators on the edge of their seats
The enthusiasm and sportsmanship displayed by the dentist players made every match memorable
*Refreshment and hospitality
To keep the player energized throughout the day a variety of refreshing and nutritious options were provided participants enjoyed energizing drinks such as fresh juices electrolyte bridges and chilled soft drinks to stay hydrated under the sun
Alarmside these a selection of refreshing fruits like watermelon oranges,bananas,pineapple,papaya was served offering a healthy boost of energy between matches.
Evening started with very tangy and flavouring panipuri along with spells of Kulfi to chill the heat and welcome the eve.
At the end of the day everyone gather to enjoy a delicious meal featuring mouth watering pav bhaji and flavourful biryani this delightful spread added festive and satisfying conclusion to the event full day
*Sponsors and special ceremonies
The success of cricket carnival 2.0 was greatly supported by its extinct sponsors including Purvankara limited Roch foundation Ralph dent care and dental laboratory along with several other contributors their generous support played a crucial role in smooth ex*****on of the tournament.
The sponsors were warmly welcome and honoured during the lamp lightning ceremony marking the formal inauguration of the event and their presence added prestige and encouragement to all the participants present there.
The sponsorers also actively participated in felicitating the man of matches,along with winners and runner up team at the award distribution ceremony.
*Award and recognition
At the conclusion of cricket carnival 2.0 outstanding performer were recognised with award such as man of the match Best Batsman,Best bowler player of tournament .
Man of the match trophies were distributed to winners from each of the matches.
The winning team was awarded the championship trophy, celebrating their teamwork and consistent performance throughout the tournament.
All the participants throughout the tournament received their participation medals to acknowledge their efforts put it to make the tournament a success.
*Carnival-
For our little enthusiasts a very well planned evening of games and fun along with women's cricket and childrens cricket was organised and all the participants were felicitated with beautiful shiny medals.
Conclusion
Cricket carnival 2.0 was not just a sport event but the celebration of unity health and recreation among dental professionals it successfully combined professional networking with athletic competition proving the passion of sports can thrive along side demanding careers the tournament left participants and spectators with lasting memories and set a benchmark for future editions.
