We are thrilled to applaud the incredible work led by
Prof. Sandeep Kumar – Professor, Department of Energy Science and Engineering, designer of the breakthrough burner system,
along with Prof. Sanjay Mahajani – Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering, pioneer of the biomass gasifier concept,
Dr. Sujeet Deore – Post-Doctoral Fellow at IIT Bombay and Co-founder of infixen Energy Pvt Ltd, contributor of the patented premix burner,
and Shri. Prabodh Gadkari – Co-founder, Infixen Energy, key contributor to deployment and scale-up.

After years of trials, smoke, clinker challenges, safety audits, and rebuilding trust with kitchen staff, the staff canteen today runs on this patented biomass gasification system.

✔ 30 to 40 percent less LPG use
✔ Around 60 percent thermal efficiency
✔ Emissions under 20 ppm
✔ Nearly 8 tonnes of CO₂ reduced every year

From campus waste to campus sustainability and soon beyond, with plans to expand to hostel messes and other institutions. this technology shows how thoughtful engineering can address real-world energy and climate challenges while cutting costs.
