Honoured to be part of this impactful project with , sharing glimpses from the first screening drive in the Nilgiris district. Reaching school children from GTRs and Ekalavya schools, along with school dropouts above 14 years, this initiative enables early detection of Sickle Cell Disease and other haemoglobinopathies at the community level - with ~2000+ children from 10th, 12th & dropouts screened in Nilgiris in a first phase.

With POCT using , screening delivers rapid, reliable results in a single visit, along with immediate genetic counselling crucial for reducing long-term disease burden. As part of , this effort aims to reach 5.7 lakh tribal individuals across 21 districts - moving towards healthier futures. Cheers to this strong government initiative driving real impact on the ground.

We were proud to participate once again in the FTR4H - Future for Health - a major medical fair - held in New Delhi from January 29–31, 2026, continuing our journey following last year’s participation.

It was an honour to connect with solution providers, NGOs, and healthcare leaders working with hemoglobinopathies. Our Product Manager, Sreyali Poojari, presented Gazelle, highlighting its role in rapid, on-the-spot hemoglobinopathy detection at PHCs, CHCs, and small-scale laboratories, making diagnostics accessible even in hard-to-reach settings.

With this year’s strong focus on AI innovation and implementation in healthcare, Gazelle attracted significant interest for its practical, field-ready approach. We sincerely thank the organisers for the opportunity to present our technology at this high-impact healthcare forum. We look forward to strong collaborations ahead.

At , themed “Beyond Traditional,” we were honoured to have Dr Nikhil Ningurkar emphasise the importance of Point-of-Care (POC) technologies in hemoglobinopathy diagnosis and endorse AI-enabled microchip-based electrophoresis & FIA for on-the-spot accurate Hb variant & ferritin detection in small labs, private clinics, reducing dependence on costly centralised systems.

It was a pleasure engaging in insightful professional discussions and live demonstrations of Gazelle, our POC solution for screening and confirmatory testing of sickle cell disease, beta thalassemia, and ferritin -bringing precision diagnostics closer to those who need it most.
