What it is:
A slipped/ bulging disc in the lower back pressing on a nerve.

📌 Common Symptoms:
• Low back pain
• Pain radiating to leg (sciatica)
• Tingling / numbness
• Muscle weakness in leg
• Pain increases on sitting, bending, lifting

📌 Causes:
• Poor posture
• Heavy lifting
• Sudden twisting
• Weak core muscles
• Degeneration with age

📌 Do’s:
✔ Use hot packs
✔ Gentle stretching
✔ Walk regularly
✔ Strengthen core & glutes
✔ Maintain upright posture
✔ Follow physiotherapy exercises

📌 Don’ts:
✘ Avoid lifting weights
✘ No forward bending
✘ Avoid long sitting
✘ No jerky movements

📌 Treatment:
✔ Physiotherapy
✔ Nerve mobilization
✔ Core strengthening
✔ Traction (if advised)
✔ Pain management (IFT, ultrasound)
