๐จ Monsoon Health Alert
Not every fever is just a viral infection. It could be Leptospirosis.
Following recent heavy rains, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has urged residents to take precautions against Leptospirosis, a bacterial infection that is often mistaken for viral fever, dengue, or malaria due to its similar early symptoms.
Watch Out for These Symptoms
๐ก๏ธ High fever and chills
๐ค Severe headache
๐ฆต Muscle pain, especially in the calves
๐คข Nausea or vomiting
๐๏ธ Redness of the eyes
๐ด Extreme fatigue
The rainy season often brings an increased risk of dengue, malaria, typhoid, viral infections, and other monsoon-related health concerns.
A comprehensive health check-up can help detect potential health risks early and keep you one step ahead.
