ON UNITING THE ENERGY IN THE CHAKRAS, THE UNIVERSE CEASES TO EXIST

Chakra is an energy centre, an area where there is great concentration of energy. There are also channels (nadis) for allowing energy to flow in the body. There are supposed to be 72,000 channels in the body. There are three that are considered to be important. The central channel (Sushumna), which is the main one extends upwards through the spine. The other two are the Ida and the Pingala. A chakra is located at the junction or meeting point of two or more channels. There are seven important chakras. The chakras and channels are not part of the physical body; they are part of the subtle body or energy body.

There is also the dormant energy called kundalini, lying at the base of the spine. When this energy rises, it moves up the central channel and pierces each chakra. When it reaches the highest chakra, that is the Shahasrara, the individual is liberated.

On uniting the energy in the chakras, the universe ceases to exist. The universe disappears because it is not real.

When we are liberated, we awaken, and the universe in its present form ceases to exist. What we thought was the universe, we realize is none other than our Self.

Just as bubbles of water are not different from water, in the same way, all creation streaming out from the Self is not different from the Self.

Just as a cloth may be considered to be only thread; like that all creation may be considered to be only the Self.

- When a great writer or poet touches our heart, it is because he gives words to our own thoughts.
- Spirituality is simply being yourself.
- Some are destined to succeed, some are determined to succeed.
- Where love rules there is harmony and no formal rules are needed.
- In meditation ‘just be’, in action ‘be just’ and in life ‘adjust’.

- The Seeker’s State of Mind -

The state of mind of a sadhaka is peculiar - totally detached and dispassionate one moment, and extremely attached the next. Anger suddenly rises in the mind and then at another moment there comes the feeling of being enlightened like a sthitaprajña (स्थितप्रज्ञ). Every moment the mind projects different moods which cannot be anticipated. How will the mind become steady and calm? This is every sadhaka’s dilemma.

The qualities of prakriti consist of the body, senses, mind and intellect on one hand and the world they experience - the sense objects of sound, touch, forms, tastes and smells - on the other. When the mind is attached to one or the other, there is sorrow. God is without attributes (nirguna) but manifests as the world and incarnates with all divine virtues and form (saguna). As long as it is attached to prakriti there is agitation. When the mind gets attached to God - nirguna or saguna we become happy - there is meditation.

When Knowledge Of Self Becomes Permanent, The Possibility Of Another Birth Is Completely Eliminated

People sometimes ask why we are reborn. What is the purpose of reincarnation or the cycle of birth and death? The main purpose of reincarnation is to achieve higher and higher levels of awareness, till we reach a state of full awareness, or God Consciousness. Whatever level of awareness we achieve in one lifetime, we start from that level of awareness in our next lifetime. We do not start our next lifetime from zero. In each lifetime, we raise our level of awareness to some extent. like this, in each life cycle we keep raising our awareness till we are fully awake.

When knowledge of the Self becomes permanent, we have reached the highest level of consciousness that is possible, and are one with God. Then, the cycle of birth and death ends for us, as there is no higher level left to go. The possibility of another birth is eliminated.

Three Types of Pleasure

The pleasure that one enjoys from spiritual practice results in cessation of all sorrows.

• The pleasure that appears as poison in the beginning, but is like nectar in the end, comes by the grace of Self-knowledge and is in the mode of goodness.

• Sensual pleasures that appear as nectars in the beginning, but become poison in the end, are in the mode of passion.

• Pleasure that confuses a person in the beginning and in the end as a result of sleep, laziness, and carelessness, is in the mode of ignorance.

There is no being, either on the earth or among the celestial controllers in
the heaven, who can remain free from these three modes of material Nature.

Mind is both a friend and an enemy

One must elevate, and not degrade, oneself by one’s own mind. The mind alone is one’s friend as well as one’s enemy. The mind is the friend of those who have control over it, and the mind acts like an enemy for those who do not control it.

One who has control over the lower self - the mind and senses - is tranquil in heat and cold, in pleasure and pain, and in honor and dishonor, and remains ever steadfast with the Supreme Self. A person is called yogi who has both Self-knowledge and Self-realization, who is calm, who has control over the mind and senses, and to whom a clod, a stone, and gold are the same.

A person is considered superior who is impartial towards companions, friends, enemies, neutrals, arbiters, haters, relatives, saints, and sinners.

Two methods to subdue the mind

Yoga of meditation is characterized by the calmness of mind, but the mind, indeed, is very unsteady, turbulent, powerful, and obstinate, restraining the mind is as difficult as restraining the wind. But it is subdued by constant vigorous spiritual practice with perseverance, and by detachment. Yoga is difficult for the one whose mind is not subdued. However, yoga is attainable by the person of subdued mind by striving through proper means.

Developing Sensitive Communication

‘A knife, dagger and arrow were fighting to decide who could
create the deepest wound. Meanwhile, words were sitting at
the back smiling as they watched all the fun.’ — Unknown

• Communication is not only about what we say, but how we behave, which is portrayed through our body language. Body language is non verbal; it’s the unspoken gestures that reveal our true emotions and intentions.

• Communication is not only about what we say but how we behave, which is portrayed through our body language.

• Words have the power to harm and do good, and thus must be used wisely. They are so powerful that abusive words can fell trees.

• Studies show that psychological and emotional wounds can have as much damage to the outcome of our lives as physical wounds.

• We should be careful when correcting others. It is said in the Bhagavad Gita, ‘Speaking truthful words that are pleasing, beneficial, not disturbing to others, comprises austerity of speech.’

• Encouragement has powerful effects.

• Casual teasing can be an element of a relationship but can lead to emotional harm if done repeatedly, even if done among good friends, let alone those who are not.

What the Chakras actually do

Chakras are energetic blueprint for human consciousness.

Root Chakra (मूलाधार चक्र)
It keeps you alive and also keeps you connected to everything - it stores ancestral memory, instinct and belonging. When balanced you not only feel safe, you feel woven into web of life.

Sacral Chakra (स्वाधिस्ठान चक्र)
It’s not just creativity or sexuality, it governs your capacity to feel fully without being swept away. This is emotional intelligence in motion, the ability to flow without losing yourself.

Solar Plexus (मणिपुर चक्र)
This is your power centre. But true power isn’t control, it’s alignment. It harmonizes your personal will with universal flow, transforming effort into ease.

Heart Chakra (अनाहत चक्र)
It is not just romantic love. It is the meeting point of opposites, masculine and feminine, giving and receiving. When this chakra opens up, separation dissolves.

Throat Chakra (विशुद्धि चक्र)
It’s not just speaking your truth, Vishuddhi means to purify. It filters vibration, what you allow to move through you and what you keep sacred in silence.

Third Eye (अज्ञा चक्र)
It’s not about predicting the future, it is about seeing clearly right now. This chakra refines perception, dissolving the illusions that keep you from truth.

Crown Chakra (शहस्रार चक्र)
This is not something you reach, it is something that descends. When consciousness anchors through every chakra, spirit meets matter and awakening becomes embodied.

Chakras aren’t steps to climb. They are frequencies to inhabit. Each one holds a layer of your human and divine nature.
