📰 WORLD HYPERTENSION DAY 2026 CELEBRATED ACROSS MAHARASHTRA
Cytel & Medicyte Lead a Statewide Awareness Movement for Better Heart Health.
On the occasion of World Hypertension Day – 17th May 2026, the Cytel initiative by Medicyte successfully conducted a large-scale hypertension awareness campaign across Maharashtra, covering major regions including Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Konkan, Western Maharashtra and Vidarbha.
With the belief that “Awareness is the First & Most Important Treatment for Hypertension,” the campaign focused on educating clinic staff, patients and the general public regarding early detection, lifestyle management and continuous monitoring of Blood Pressure.
As a part of this initiative, a dedicated hypertension awareness website was launched to provide complete information on:
✔ Hypertension Management
✔ Healthy Lifestyle Practices
✔ Diet & Stress Management
✔ Importance of Regular BP Monitoring
Through QR code scanning activities conducted at various clinics and hospitals, thousands of healthcare professionals, staff members and patients were connected directly to the awareness platform.
Doctors and healthcare teams actively participated by displaying Cytel awareness banners, engaging with patients and encouraging healthy living habits.
To further promote healthy food awareness, specially curated healthy food packets were distributed during the campaign. These food packs were designed with:

Despite the extreme summer heat conditions across Maharashtra, the field team members showed exceptional dedication, passion and commitment in successfully executing this awareness drive. Their continuous efforts, clinic-to-clinic engagement and patient interaction played a vital role in making the campaign impactful and meaningful.
The initiative received overwhelming support from medical practitioners and healthcare staff across Maharashtra, strengthening the mission:
