Homeopathy? Fast results?

These three words are a paradox of their own.

Convincing others to take Homeopathy is always tricky as many find it to be slow in giving results. So, took my own hypothyroid journey to bust this myth for once and for all.

It's been over 15 years that I've been diagnosed with Hypothyroidism during m adolescence and been taking daily synthetic thyroid pills which kept my periods and other symptoms at bay.

During lockdown, found typical symptoms like sleeplessness, constipation and most importantly hairfall return.

And despite all diet and exercise, a TSH report like this is disheartening to say the least.

After beginning with Constitutional homeopathy remedy (remedy suited to my personality type), this is what my recent test results came to be.

Finally, getting this myth busted is quite a relief.

Moringa-Quinoa-Oats dosa

A high-on-nutrition recipe, with 'Superfood of this Season'-

Moringa (drumsticks) is a plant native to the Tropics and common in India and Bangladesh. Several parts of the plant such as bark, fruit, seeds are used for medicinal purposes.

Immature green pods of this plant is used to prepare drumsticks sabzi (not devouvered by many) or added to Tadka dals and sambar.

Moringa powder is prepared from dried moringa leaves; and this is what is used in the making of today's recipe.

Moringa is packed with vitamins, antioxidants, and helps in reducing asthma attacks. A decoction is particularly helpful for diabetics to manage glucose levels. Other uses include:

• Lipid control
• Breast milk production
• Weight gain in malnourished children
• Eases menopausal symptoms
• Gum disease
• Headache
• Diarrhoea

Precaution: Excessive consumption may cause problems with fertility. Unsafe in pregnancy.
