Azelis Expands Pharmaceutical Excipient Portfolio in India Through Partnership with Lactalis
Azelis, a leading innovation service provider in the specialty chemicals and food ingredients industry, has announced a new distribution partnership with Lactalis for the Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare market in India. Effective immediately, Azelis will distribute the Lactalpha range of pharmaceutical lactose products across India, further enhancing its portfolio for oral solid dosage formulations.
Through this partnership, customers in India will gain access to the Lactalpha range of high-quality milled and sieved pharmaceutical lactose, providing additional excipient options for oral formulations. Lactalis will benefit from Azelis’s extensive customer network, technical expertise, application support, and strong local presence built over more than 75 years in India. At the same time, Azelis strengthens its pharmaceutical offering with a well-recognized lactose range designed for oral solid dosage applications.
The Lactalpha portfolio includes low-nitrite milled and sieved lactose suitable for wet granulation, dry granulation, and dry-blending processes. It is ideal for oral solid dosage forms such as tablets, sachets, and capsules and complies with Ph. Eur., USP-NF, and JP standards.
