Sidr (Lote Tree) is mentioned several times in the Qur’an.
سدر کا ذکر قرآنِ مجید میں کئی مرتبہ آیا ہے۔

Allah ﷻ says: “Near the Sidrat al-Muntaha.” — Qur’an 53:14
اللہ ﷻ فرماتے ہیں: “سدرۃ المنتہیٰ کے پاس۔” — القرآن 53:14

Sidr is also mentioned in authentic Ahadith for cleansing and washing.
سدر کا ذکر صحیح احادیث میں غسل اور صفائی کے لیے بھی ملتا ہے۔

The Prophet ﷺ instructed that water and Sidr leaves be used for washing. — Sahih al-Bukhari

🌿 What Did the Prophet ﷺ Recommend for Leg and Foot Pain?

Two practices are reported in the Sunnah.

1️⃣ Henna (Hina) on the legs
Salma (RA), a servant of the Prophet ﷺ, reported that whenever someone complained of a headache, he ﷺ advised cupping (hijama).
Whenever someone complained of pain in the legs, he ﷺ advised them to apply henna.

📚 Sunan Abu Dawud 3858, Jami' at-Tirmidhi 2054, Sunan Ibn Majah 3502
Note: Tirmidhi called it gharib (reported through a single chain). Some scholars, including Al-Albani, graded it hasan (acceptable), so it's best shared with that note.

2️⃣ Cupping (Hijama) on top of the foot
Jabir (RA) reported that the Prophet ﷺ was cupped on the top of his foot because of pain.

📚 Sunan Abu Dawud 1837, Sunan an-Nasa'i 2847

💡 Summary
• Henna was advised for leg pain
• Cupping on the foot was practiced by the Prophet ﷺ himself

Sakanjabeen (Honey+Vinegar) was a popular drink in earlier times, and many Muslim physicians praised its therapeutic benefits. The name Sakanjabeen comes from two Persian words referring to its principal ingredients: Sirka (سرکہ), meaning vinegar, and Angabeen (انگبین), meaning honey. The Persians also called it Sarkangabeen ~ سرکنگبین

Ibn Al-Qayyim wrote for Honey (taken with Vinegar):

وَهُوَ أَقَلُّ ضَرَرًا لِسُدَدِ الْكَبِدِ وَالطِّحَالِ مِنْ كُلِّ حُلْوٍ. وَهُوَ مَعَ هَذَا كُلِّهِ مَأْمُونُ الْغَائِلَةِ، قَلِيلُ الْمَضَارِّ، مُضِرٌّ بِالْعَرَضِ لِلصَّفْرَاوِيِّينَ وَدَفْعُهَا بِالْخَلِّ وَنَحْوِهِ فَيَعُودُ حِينَئِذٍ نَافِعًا لَهُ جِدًّا.

“Honey is less harmful to obstructions/blockages of the liver and spleen than all other sweet foods. Despite all of this, it is generally safe and has few harmful effects. It may however, be harmful incidentally to people of a bilious (yellow-bile) temperament; this can be counteracted by vinegar and similar substances, after which Honey becomes very beneficial for them.”

شهد جگر اور تلی کی رکاوٹوں اور بندشوں کے لیے تمام میٹھی چیزوں کی نسبت کم نقصان دہ ہے۔ اس سب کے باوجود اس کے مضر اثرات سے اطمینان ہے اور اس کے نقصانات بہت کم ہیں۔ البتہ یہ بالخصوص صفراوی مزاج رکھنے والوں کے لیے نقصان دہ ہو سکتا ہے۔ اس کے اس اثر کو سرکہ اور اس جیسی چیزوں کے ذریعے دور کیا جا سکتا ہے، اور پھر یہ ان کے لیے بہت زیادہ نفع بخش ہو جاتا ہے۔"
