🧠 Exploring the Impact of Urban Living on Mental Health
The Department of Psychiatry, DMMC, successfully organized a hybrid CME on “Urban Living & Mental Health for Doctors: Challenges, Adaptations & Clinical Perspectives.”
The programme brought together mental health experts, doctors, and healthcare professionals to discuss emerging challenges of urban life, including Gen Z mental health, addictions, changing relationship dynamics, and the evolving role of doctors as health coaches.
With 155 participants, engaging expert sessions, and 1 MMC credit point, the CME served as a valuable platform for learning, discussion, and knowledge exchange in contemporary mental healthcare.

As part of Pharmacovigilance Week 2026, the Department of Pharmacology, Datta Meghe Medical College, SMHRC & DABASI successfully conducted a Poster Presentation by Allied Health Sciences students on 21 September 2026.
The enthusiastic participation of the students reflected their creativity, knowledge, and commitment towards medication safety, pharmacovigilance, ADR reporting, and the rational use of medicines. 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️📚
🎯 Theme:
“Promoting Rational Use of Medicines through Pharmacovigilance: A Step Towards Safer Healthcare.”
The activity provided an engaging platform for students to spread awareness about the importance of identifying, preventing, and reporting adverse drug reactions and medication-related problems.
