Bronchoscopic removal of Beetle nut from airways / windpipe .
a middle aged women remembers of swallowing beetle nut piece followed by severe cough. Tried various home remedies and then started taking multiple medication for breathlessness and wheezing . She was on Asthma treatment for months with no response.
Upon careful investigation CT scan chest revealed a stuck piece in her left lung, which then was removed by Bronchoscopy without any complication and patient discharged home on same day without unnecessary medication she was taking for months.
