Jagdish Krishanlal Arora's Secrets of Mount Kailash, Bermuda Triangle and the Lost City of Atlantis is a work of fiction exploring various unexplained phenomena. The book discusses myths and legends surrounding Mount Kailash, the Bermuda Triangle, and the lost city of Atlantis, blending these with the author's personal experiences and reflections on spirituality, history, and technology. It speculates on the possibility of ancient advanced civilizations and their potential connections to these locations, alongside discussions of supernatural beliefs and the author's views on magic and religion.
Main Themes and Key Ideas:
The book explores connections between Mount Kailash, the Bermuda Triangle, and the Lost City of Atlantis, suggesting they are sites of supernatural activity with shared mysteries defying conventional understanding. The author claims that adverse weather, such as sudden storms over Mount Kailash, resembles phenomena reported in the Bermuda Triangle.
Religious and Spiritual Significance
Mount Kailash is portrayed as sacred to multiple religions, including Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bon. It symbolizes divine presence, with beliefs stating that visiting can absolve sins and grant spiritual enlightenment. The author discusses the concept of pilgrimage, highlighting the profound emotional and spiritual pull of these sites.
Speculative Historical Claims
The book challenges historical consensus with assertions like writing existing since humanity's inception and claims of Earth's destruction and reconstruction multiple times over 15,000 years, including a global flood. It proposes that ancient civilizations were influenced by extraterrestrial beings and suggests Earth might be a "prison" for beings from other galaxies, controlled by a "Galactic Force" responsible for destroying Mars and possibly Atlantis.
Unexplained Phenomena
The Bermuda Triangle is detailed with cases like the USS Cyclops (1918) and SS Marine Sulphur Queen (1963), highlighting disappearances, electronic malfunctions, and compass anomalies. Similar phenomena are linked to Mount Kailash, where mountaineers report disorientation, rapid aging, and strange voices, while those performing a circumambulation experience spiritual upliftment. Other locations like Mount Shasta and the Devil’s Sea are also linked to UFO sightings and mysterious disappearances.
Technology and the Limits of Exploration
Skeptical of advanced technologies, the author critiques missions to Mars and the Moon as yielding little value. He questions the efficacy of tools like mass spectrographs and ECG-based instruments used in the James Webb Telescope, arguing that technology alone cannot unravel the mysteries of these sites.
Atlantis and Its Destruction
The book posits Atlantis as an advanced civilization near the Bermuda Triangle, destroyed around 10,000 years ago by floods.
Spirits, Energies, and Possessions
Mysterious locations are linked to evil spirits and energies, which the author believes attach themselves to individuals. Sacred sites are portrayed as places where these spirits either detach or are banished.
