Prosthodontist of the Year FEDA 26 Winner 🏆
Those who personally know me and my struggles, know what a monumentous achievement it truly is, to be able to receive "Prosthodontist of the Year" from none other than Dr. Sabita Ram, a legend in the field. As they always say, when a door closes a window opens. Sometimes it takes a few years for that window to burst open, and when it does, it's so worth the wait! 🙂

The icing and cherry on the cake was when a student I have personally mentored .g22 won too! Heartiest Congratulations dear Arushi - Cheers to many more! 😍❤️

By the grace of Almighty, I have won the prestigious FIP Ribbon in the recently concluded Bhavan's Photo Society National Salon for my image titled "In Her Shadow, I Find My Way" in the Open Monochrome Section. It was surreal to see my image in print.

Also received two Acceptances. May this year, bless me with many more photogenic opportunities, along with being at the right place, at the right time.

P.S. - deep gratitude and thanks to every friend and mentor, who has played a role in my journey.

What are selective FMR's? These are Minimally Invasive Rehabs that are done for those cases that are ambiguous and do not fit the requirements of a traditional FMR.

Nevertheless they require intervention as they display wear due to occlusal disharmony.

Some cases are special - a 7 yr post op of a smile rehab case done for a 21 yr old. This case is a perfect eg of when NOT to do veneers... Biomimetic Posterior Partial Restos done in this visit. Rest of the description in the slides. Candid shot of patient's face shared with permission. 😍

P.S. - patient did not want ortho t/t as she was a case of ortho failure and that ship has sailed for her.

Some cases really surprise you. I started this case with all the good intentions of doing selective caries removal, followed by a partial bonded resto. The patient had no symptoms of irreversible pulpitis, neither clinically nor radiographically. BUT, the tooth had plans of its own!
Hint - the central stop zone is NOT 5mm from the occlusal in all cases.

Our workshop yesterday on 'Biomimetic Partial Bonded Restorations' was a grand success. We had participants from Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, engaging in interesting clinical discussions, making it a very enjoyable Sunday. We have an upcoming workshop on FMR on 27th July 2025.
