𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆. 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲.
Sanjiv Navangul (MD & CEO, BSV, A Mankind Group Company) joined industry leaders Dr. Rajeev Raghuvanshi (DCGI, CDSCO), Vikrant Shrotriya (Managing Director, Novo Nordisk) and Dr. Anuj Kumar Saini (Global Head-Global Clinical Management, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.), on the Plenary Panel "Billion Dose Challenge" at the Peptides & Complex Generics Symposium 2026. Moderated by Dr. Ratnesh Jain (Founder & Director, Mumbai Biocluster) the session explored how India can scale it’s peptide manufacturing capabilities.
His message was clear: The foundation of scale is a culture of quality.
From R&D and manufacturing to QA and QC, quality must be embedded across the organization and built into every stage of the product lifecycle. Equally important is collaboration across the industry, regulators and government to create an ecosystem needed to scale innovation responsibly.
He emphasized that the real challenge is not simply to make a billion doses, but to deliver a billion doses with consistency, quality and trust, for patients across the globe.
