लम्पी वायरस (Lumpy Skin Disease – L*D) मुख्यतः गाय और भैंस में होने वाला एक संक्रामक वायरल रोग है। इसे Lumpy Skin Disease Virus (L*DV) कहते हैं, जो Capripoxvirus समूह का वायरस है।
🐄 प्रमुख लक्षण
शरीर पर गोल-गोल कठोर गांठें/गांठदार घाव
तेज या हल्का बुखार
भूख कम होना और कमजोरी
दूध का उत्पादन अचानक कम होना
आंख और नाक से पानी/स्राव
पैरों में सूजन और चलने में परेशानी
गंभीर स्थिति में घावों में संक्रमण, वजन कम होना और कभी-कभी मृत्यु
🦟 यह कैसे फैलता है?
मुख्य रूप से मच्छर, मक्खी और टिक जैसे खून चूसने वाले कीड़ों से फैलता है। संक्रमित पशु के संपर्क तथा दूषित सामग्री से भी संक्रमण फैल सकता है।
💉 बचाव
संक्रमित पशु को अलग रखें (आइसोलेशन)
मक्खी-मच्छर और टिक का नियंत्रण करें
पशुशाला को साफ और सूखा रखें
क्षेत्र में उपलब्ध होने पर पशु चिकित्सक की सलाह से L*D का टीकाकरण कराएं।
गांठों को खुद से काटें या फोड़ें नहीं।
