As we heal ourselves, we set beautiful intentions for others too. And the world heals. It all starts with you!!

Every thought creates our reality and is like a stone thrown in water, creating the same waves far & wide.

*Wake up call*
I havent watched news in 8/9 years as I don’t want to know what’s happening in the world. For, I love the world that I created & that surrounds me. My ‘precious’ circle of love which is friends who love me & make me smile.. and family which is my strength and joy .. my work that I love & has made me who I am today, nature, my pets and all the abundance I have in every area of my life .. and counting my blessings 🙏🏼.
Yet, I won’t be able to say that 2020, or rather 2021 n what’s happening around me NOW isn’t disturbing me !!!
We are connected...
In Oneness we shine.
It’s a moment of Concious awareness.
This.. the situation of the world is due to
*The problem of separation*
which is really the ONLY problem.
( blame, judgement, criticism,resentment,anger, fear)
We are all vibrational energy beings, connected to SOURCE energy. The source that created us all equal.
Every being must realise that our healing and salvation lies in the healing and salvation of our BROTHER( each and every other person)
As we heal through LOVE, forgiveness.. We all Heal. And our world becomes a HOME of Peace & Harmony 🙏🏼

And I truly believe this is what Corona came to teach us. Today it took a COVID to get us together, feel compassion for those suffering, those gone !!
Today our hearts are crying for those we don’t even know.
Today we feel others’ pain !
Pehle yeh dard ho jaata toh itni zindgaiyan lene aur dukh dene aata hee nahi Corona.
And I pray we still learn ... or are atleast willing to learn & continue this ‘feeling of belonging and reaching out.. of keeping others uplifted through our kind words or deeds’.

We’ll go ‘back to NORMAL’ when we know that NORMAL is an existence without greed, selfishness, hate, lack, hoarding, ego... when we grab this opportunity to learn & grow as better humans with ‘humanity and love’ !

BODYWEIGHT TRAINING !!

Ask most gym-goers what they should do if they want to build muscle and most likely the answer will be to lift weights at the gym. But what if you can’t get to the gym? Or you are not a gym person?

* GET ON THE MAT & do your own BODYWEIGHT TRAINING !
Yes, bodyweight exercises can build muscle.
You’re going to be pulling, pushing, jumping, doing any kind of activity using only your weight as the resistance. It may sound simple but you’ll be surprised by just how more challenging you can make it by implementing even the smallest changes such as moving the positioning of your hands or switching up the number of sets and reps you do. 

So getting on the mat comes with added benefits :
* You lose fat.
* You could combine endurance and strength training.
* You burn calories faster with a better metabolism.
* It works on the entire body toning making it lean and stronger.
* You can do the workouts anywhere and anytime.
* You don’t need any equipment (e.g. weights).
* You don’t need much time for the workout everytime – 15 minutes are enough too.
* Less injuries if you listen to the body and do the exercises accordingly.
* You could choose your intensity.

Reading Labels can be tricky!

A quick guide into reading food labels so that you can differentiate between mislabeled junk and truly healthy foods.

A good rule of thumb is to scan the first three ingredients, as they make up the largest part of what you’re eating.
If the first ingredients include refined grains, a type of sugar, or hydrogenated oils, you can assume that the product is unhealthy.
Instead, try choosing items that have whole foods listed as the first three ingredients.

Here are some of the most common claims — and what they mean:

LIGHT/ LOW CARB/ LOW FAT : Light products are processed to reduce either calories or fat. Check carefully to see if anything has been added instead — like sugar.

MULTIGRAIN: It sounds healthy but only means that a product contains more than one type of grain. These are most likely refined grains — unless the product is marked as whole grain.

ORGANIC: This label says very little about whether a product is healthy. For example, organic sugar is still sugar.

NO ADDED SUGAR: Some products are naturally high in sugar. The fact that they don’t have added sugar doesn’t mean they’re healthy. Unhealthy sugar substitutes may also have been added.

GLUTEN-FREE: Gluten-free doesn’t mean healthy. The product simply doesn’t contain wheat, spelt, rye, or barley. Many gluten-free foods are highly processed and loaded with unhealthy fats and sugar.

Be aware of what you are buying. Educate yourself to continue staying healthy !

Working out crazy 1 or 2 hours in the gym is only going to burn you out and result in body fatigue & injury.

Thursday Toning :
With summers coming up, my focus is shifting to sculpting the upper back, shoulders & arms.

Featuring here :

Side-arm series on the pilates reformer!!

- internal rotation ( keep the elbow tucked in & only work the forearm inwards )
- external rotation ( keep elbow tucked in & only work the forearm outwards)
- cross body ( keep the shoulder down and move the arm across the chest)
- arm extension ( open the arm in line with the shoulder )
- oblique drops

* I am on a 💙 spring

* I am doing it standing as an advanced version, which is challenging for the core too.. but as a modified / easier version do it sitting cross legged or kneeling.
