Under Project SSHAKTI, HLFPPT, in collaboration with GSVM Medical College, Kanpur, supported a CME on Extrapulmonary & Pediatric Tuberculosis, bringing clinical, laboratory and public health experts together to strengthen TB diagnosis and care.

From EPTB diagnostics to pediatric TB management, the programme reinforced one key message: stronger systems and stronger collaboration can lead to better outcomes.

Together, we strengthen the systems that move us closer to TB elimination.

HLFPPT conducted a focused Extrapulmonary Tuberculosis (EPTB) Training at IMS, BHU, Varanasi, bringing clinicians, microbiologists and programme stakeholders together to strengthen approaches to one of TB’s most complex and underdiagnosed forms.

From sample collection and laboratory diagnostics to pediatric TB and clinician–laboratory convergence, the training focused on building the skills and systems needed for earlier, more accurate diagnosis and better patient outcomes.

Under the aegis of HURL Project Sehat Sathi, HLFPPT organized the "Nayi Drishti, Swastha Matritva" programme at BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur, bringing together maternal healthcare and quality eye care on one platform.

The programme marked the inauguration of a new Phaco Machine, strengthening access to advanced eye care, while the Godh Bharai ceremony celebrated expectant mothers and reinforced the importance of maternal nutrition, regular antenatal care, institutional deliveries, and newborn care.

Together with HURL, we remain committed to making healthcare more accessible, ensuring healthier pregnancies, and building stronger, healthier communities.
