I had a sugar addiction. But I was wrong. I just wasn't giving my body real sugar.

When I started eating fruit as an actual meal — not a snack, not an afterthought — the chocolate cravings, the mithai cravings, all of it just calmed down.

I was pre-diabetic. Doctors said it was genetic and I would need medicines soon.

👉🏼 I did some research and made shifts in my diet and lifestyle. My sugars became normal and I did not need medicines. Then I helped others do the same.

👉🏼 A teacher, a homemaker and an IT professional. All told the same thing. All proved it wrong.

Healthy people build healthy communities. Healthy communities build healthy democracies.

When young people peacefully stand up for fairness and justice, I see signs of a nation trying to heal.

Whether you agree with every demand or not, may we never lose the ability to listen to one another with respect.
