Why is this a 6-Month Hands-On Program and not just a short workshop?

Because real learning in the field of child development and special needs requires practical exposure, clinical understanding, observation, and supervised hands-on experience — not just theory.

At Shri Ganesh Building Blocks CDC, Baner Pune, trainees will undergo rotational postings in multiple departments including:

• Developmental Pediatrics OPD
• Speech Therapy
• Behaviour Therapy
• Special Education
• Occupational Therapy & other intervention departments

Program Structure:

🔹 First 2 Months – Observation Phase
Observe assessment methods, therapy planning, behaviour management, parent counselling, and interdisciplinary teamwork.

🔹 Next 2 Months – Hands-On Training Under Supervision
Direct interaction with children under guidance of senior therapists and professionals.

🔹 Final 2 Months – Independent Session Planning
Trainees will learn to plan goals, prepare therapy sessions, conduct sessions individually, and understand case handling professionally.

This program is designed to build real clinical confidence, practical skills, and multidisciplinary understanding for individuals who genuinely want to work in the field of special needs and child development.
