महागामा में फाइलेरिया उन्मूलन अभियान को मिली नई गति!

03 जुलाई 2026 को महागामा प्रखंड के सुकलचक गांव में आयोजित नाइट ब्लड सर्वे (NBS) अभियान में लगभग 300 ग्रामीणों की सफलतापूर्वक जांच की गई। स्वास्थ्य विभाग, जिला प्रशासन, पंचायत, JSLPS एवं पिरामल फाउंडेशन के संयुक्त प्रयास से यह अभियान सफल रहा।

शिविर में बीडीओ श्री सोनाराम हसदा, प्रखंड चिकित्सा पदाधिकारी डॉ. खालिद अंजुम, जिला कंसल्टेंट हेमंत कुमार, पिरामल फाउंडेशन के प्रोग्राम लीड अनंत पांडे एवं प्रोग्राम ऑफिसर रूपेश कुमार सिंह, BPM देवेंद्र पंडित, SI बृजनायन कुंवर, MTS शाहीन परवेज, LT अब्दुल मन्नान, कुमुद रंजन, MPW मुकेश कुमार, नौशेरा आलम, विमल कुमार, हजरत अली, राशिद आलम, मोहम्मद अब्दुल, सहित ANM, CHO, सहिया, पंचायत प्रतिनिधि एवं JSLPS टीम की सक्रिय सहभागिता रही।

ग्रामीणों की उत्साहपूर्ण भागीदारी और सभी हितधारकों के सहयोग से यह अभियान फाइलेरिया उन्मूलन की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम साबित हुआ।

A Significant Step Towards a Filariasis-Free Palamu

Today, the Deputy Commissioner of Palamu chaired the District Coordination Committee (DCC) meeting to review preparedness for the Night Blood Survey (NBS) campaign scheduled from 6–16 July. Necessary directions were issued to all concerned departments to ensure effective coordination and successful implementation of the campaign.

Citizens are requested to cooperate with the health teams during the nighttime blood sample collection. Your support is vital in achieving the goal of a Filariasis-Free Palamu.

📍 Awareness Activity | 24 June 2026
Sarath, Deoghar

Under Anti-Malaria Month, awareness programs were conducted at KGBV Sarath and Upgraded +2 High School, Birmati, reaching over 540 students and 13 teachers.

Participants were sensitized on the prevention and control of Malaria, Filariasis, Dengue, and other vector-borne diseases, with a focus on cleanliness, mosquito control, and timely treatment.

The sessions witnessed active participation and strengthened community awareness towards a healthier future.

📍 Field Activity Update | 24 June 2026
Location: Aam Kendra Koridih, Deoghar & Jasidih Block

Under the Lymphatic Filariasis Elimination Programme (LF) and Anti-Malaria Month, MMDP kits were distributed to LF patients, along with guidance on self-care practices and hygiene management.

A review meeting was also conducted with ANMs, Sahiyas, and health workers to discuss patient follow-up, staging, line-listing, disability certification, and community awareness activities. Special emphasis was placed on the prevention and early treatment of malaria, filariasis, and other vector-borne diseases through community participation and health education.

Block: Pathargama

Today, field activities were conducted in Matihani, Sundarmore, and Darighat villages to strengthen NBS and public health interventions.

✅ 70 LF and Hydrocele patients were entered into the IHIP Portal.
✅ Coordination meeting held with NGO Pradan regarding support for NBS activities.
✅ Village meeting and site visit conducted in Sundarmore to promote community participation in NBS activities.
✅ Telephonic discussion with the Mukhiya and regular coordination with RHPs for field-level support.
✅ Site finalized for upcoming NBS activities.
✅ Discussion with KTS Pathargama regarding the planning of BCC meetings under NPS.

Strengthening community engagement and partnerships for effective public health service delivery.
