An awareness session on organ donation was successfully organised at Manan Vidya Manrakhan Mahto School, Ranchi for the cadets of 3 Jharkhand Battalion NCC. इस सत्र में अंगदान के महत्व, जीवन बचाने में इसकी भूमिका तथा समाज में जागरूकता फैलाने पर विशेष चर्चा की गई। Cadets were encouraged to become responsible citizens and inspire others towards this noble cause. 💚

The session was attended by 510 NCC cadets, 15 PI staff, 26 civil staff in the presence of battalion officers Colonel Santosh Kumar, Colonel Sudeep Sinha, Subedar Major Krishan Dev.

Today's session was organised in collaboration with the MOHAN Foundation (Jharkhand Chapter).

A meeting to promote organ donation in Jharkhand was organised by State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization Jharkhand (SOTTO). The discussion comes in the wake of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighting the importance of organ donation during the recent episode of Mann Ki Baat.

The meeting was chaired by Dr. Hirendra Birua, Medical Superintendent of Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi. Dr. Sunil Shroff from MOHAN Foundation participated in the discussion and assured support to all stakeholders in strengthening organ donation awareness and systems in the state.

The meeting was also attended by various stakeholders including Lt. Col. Santosh Nayak, Medical Superintendent of Medanta Hospital; Dr. Saurabh Kumar, Critical Care Specialist from Raj Hospital; and Dr. Karan Mohan from Manipal Hospital.

Dr. Anand Prakash, HoD, Neurosurgery, Dr. Surendra Kumar, HoD, Neurology, Dr. Ajmal Jamal, HoD, Urology, Dr. Boniface Hembrom from Dept. Of Critical Care, Dr. Ajay Kumar from Dept. of Surgery, Dr. Rajiv Ranjan, Nodal Officer, SOTTO Jharkhand were also present in the meeting.

The discussion focused on collaborative efforts among hospitals and healthcare professionals to increase awareness and strengthen the organ donation programme in Jharkhand.

An awareness and pledging session was jointly organized by SOTTO Jharkhand and Bagheria Foundation today at Chakradharpur, West Singhbhum district. The session was attended by more than 100 people.

Shri Kundan Gope, Gold Medalist at 53rd Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Championship and four time National Champion vowed his support for this noble cause.
