"Rock Your Socks" is a global campaign celebrated on World Down Syndrome Day (March 21) to raise awareness by wearing bright, mismatched, or colorful socks. The initiative highlights that chromosomes look like paired socks, and the extra 21st chromosome (trisomy 21) represents a "mismatched" or unique one.

Everyone of you can share your support for Down syndrome children and spread awareness on this day by "rockyoursocks"... and share your pics..

Had a wonderful opportunity to be faculty at the National IAP Growth Development and Behavioral Pediatrics Chapter held last month at SRMC Chennai

It was pleasure sharing Chair with Dr.Pradeep Sir ( Clinical Geneticist) and Mrs.Brinda ( Genetic Counselor) for the topic " Approach to children with Developmental delay"

Our session was moderated by renowned Prof.Dr.Kalapana Gowrishankar mam

Great learning experience and meeting all renowned professors in Pediatrics and Genetics Dr.Sujatha Jagathesan mam.

Had the opportunity to visit as Chief Guest and spend quality time with kids at CSI Balar Gnana Illam Salem on World Down Syndrome Day 21.03.2021.

I was happy in creating awareness and 'CONNECT 'ing with them as per theme.

It was a wonderful experience with children and their parents.

We emphasized on the awareness as well as the equality rights of the down syndrome children.
