Building Responsible Healthcare Professionals Beyond the Classroom!

Nandadeep School of Optometry, Sangli, successfully organized an insightful session on **Plastic and E-Waste Management**, conducted by **Pruthvi Zero Waste Foundation**.

We were privileged to have **Dr. Madhavi Patwardhan**, President and Mentor of Pruthvi Zero Waste Foundation whose guidance continues to inspire students toward environmental responsibility and sustainable practices.

The session highlighted the importance of proper segregation, recycling, and responsible disposal of plastic and electronic waste, encouraging students to become environmentally conscious healthcare professionals and active contributors to a cleaner, greener future.

Nandadeep School of Optometry was privileged to host an insightful and enriching academic session for Optometry Fellow and Internship students by Mr. Vikash K. Mishra, a renowned Neuro Vision Therapist and expert in neuro-rehabilitation.

During this engaging session, Mr. Mishra shared his extensive knowledge on:
🔹 The intricate relationship between the Brain and the Eye
🔹 Cerebral/Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI)
🔹 Amblyopia and its neuroplasticity-based management
🔹 The emerging role of Photobiomodulation in Neuro Vision Therapy

Learning beyond classrooms!

Students from Nandadeep School of Optometry had an enriching educational visit to the Anatomy Museum Department at R. R. Patil Homeopathic Medical College, Sangli. The visit provided valuable exposure to human anatomy, helping students gain a deeper understanding of anatomical structures and their clinical relevance in eye care and healthcare practice.

Such academic experiences bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical understanding, inspiring students to develop stronger clinical foundations and interdisciplinary learning skills.
