NQAS State Assessment at Yangsum HWC – 7 July 2026
The NQAS State Assessment at Yangsum Health & Wellness Centre (HWC) was successfully conducted on 7 July 2026 by state Assessor Ma'am mikeyla lepcha ans susmita Rai .
The assessment focused on evaluating compliance with NQAS standards and protocols, including the quality of healthcare services, infrastructure, infection prevention and control practices, staff interactions, documentation, and record-keeping. The assessors thoroughly reviewed the facility and provided valuable guidance to strengthen quality improvement initiatives and ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered healthcare services.

Joint inspection was carried out today at Yangsum HWC regarding the land registration of the health facility. The inspection was conducted in the presence of the JAS Committee, the landowner, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Gyalshing District, and officials from the Land Revenue Department, Gyalshing. The visit focused on facilitating the land registration process for the health facility.
